The short version
Influitive and lyynx overlap on one job: getting the right customer to speak to a prospect. Beyond that they are different kinds of product. Influitive is a broad advocacy and community platform. lyynx does customer references only, and goes deep on the advocate's control over them.
Everything this page says about Influitive comes from the public Influitive website, checked on the date shown below the page.
What Influitive is built for
Influitive describes itself as an "advocacy, community, and engagement platform". Its site lists use cases that include reviews and testimonials, social amplification, product adoption, reference management, feedback and surveys, training, referrals and customer stories.
The model is activity-based. Its features page describes gamified activities that help you source, interview and reward contributors. For references specifically, the Influitive site says:
- You use activities to ask customers to join a reference group. Customers who volunteer are placed in that group.
- Surveys collect data such as preferred use cases, sentiment and industry, which helps sales pick advocates relevant to a prospect.
- Your sales team can log reference requests in Salesforce, and those requests populate a reference challenge in Influitive. Sales can view advocacy activity on opportunities and contacts in Salesforce.
- You can target rewards at customers who take reference calls.
Its integrations page lists Salesforce (including a reference management app), Khoros and Salesforce Communities, marketing automation systems, reward fulfillment companies, learning management systems, single sign-on and Zapier. Its pricing page names two plans, Customer Advocacy and Digital Community, and publishes no prices.
What lyynx is built for
lyynx is the advocate-first customer reference management platform for B2B teams. You keep a reference library of customer companies and the advocates at each one. Prospects you invite sign in to a branded portal, browse the references shared with them, request a conversation, message the advocate and book a meeting.
The design priority is the advocate's side:
- Advocates set their own engagement limit per rolling 30 days. At capacity, new requests route to your team.
- Each reference has a privacy level and per-contact display controls.
- Advocates who log in own their profile fields and can revoke consent.
- A reference utilization report shows which advocates are at risk of overuse and which are underused.
The honest gaps: lyynx is in a pre-launch pilot and has no published customer results. It has no community, no referral program, no review campaigns and no points or badges. Its connectivity is a REST API and outgoing webhooks, not a native integration with any CRM.

Choose Influitive if
- You want one program that covers reviews, referrals, social sharing, feedback and references.
- You have, or plan to build, an engaged advocate community and someone to run it.
- Gamified activities and rewards suit your customers and your brand.
- Your reps should request references from inside Salesforce.
Choose lyynx if
- References are the problem you need solved, and you do not want to run a community to solve it.
- Your advocates are senior people who would rather set a limit and be asked directly than complete activities.
- You want prospects to browse approved references themselves in a portal under your brand.
- You want per-reference privacy levels, a public listing check and published privacy and compliance documentation.
- You are comfortable joining a pilot.
What to ask in an evaluation
- How many advocacy jobs do you need covered in the next year? If it is only references, a broad platform may be more than you will run. If it is five, a reference-only tool is too narrow.
- Who on your team will create activities or keep the library current each week?
- How would your most senior advocates react to points and challenges? To a plain request with a limit they control?
- Who decides how often an advocate is asked, and what stops a request when they have done enough?
- Where do reps need to make a request, and does that flow exist today?
- Ask both vendors for pricing in writing. No figures are quoted on this page.
